Alcohol detox: regenerate your cells and boost your metabolism

When you party too hard, it pays to be good to your body the next day. Otherwise, that alcohol can stay in your body for a long time and weaken your immune system. Our tasty smoothies are easy to prepare, and will help your body get rid of toxins and heavy metals. You’ll feel lighter, healthier and happier – and have a clear head again.

Strict diets and long fasts are not for everyone. The advantage with detoxing is that you never have to go hungry. Instead, you actually consume more fresh ingredients such as vegetables and fruit, which can also increase dietary awareness.

Detoxing is a great way to strengthen your immune system one small step at a time. It can also help with unpleasant feelings of indigestion, bloating or fullness. As a welcome side effect, detoxing boosts your metabolism, which can help you lose weight. Plus you sleep better, your body is less stressed, and you feel brighter in no time.

What’s good to eat and drink the morning after?

This magazine article explains what to eat or drink after drinking too much alcohol. It also provides delicious recipes for smoothies that can help flush alcohol breakdown products out of our cells and body. That makes space for healthy substances that support cell function and promote cell regeneration.

  • Salads rich in bitterns, e.g. chicory, radicchio, endive salad, sugarloaf, dandelion, goutwort stimulate liver function, promote detoxing and regeneration of liver cells, remove harmful deposits
